Foto Friday challenge: WHITE

Perhaps it was the idea of the 92 degree temperature forcast for today, or just because I was sweating during the large amount of cooking I did this morning. But, the first thing that came to mind when I thought about the theme for today's  WHITE photo challenge was: snow.
We actually have had  two or three good snow days in the last 2 years here in my part of Texas. That is unheard of!

We put out a lot of bird seed during this snow in February. Look at all the tiny little prints that remained after the feast. I remember how quiet, still and clean it was when I took my afternoon walk. The air was so cold and the ground was mostly an undisturbed field of crisp white snow. Everything felt and looked so fresh and pure. It was a joy to experience....so much white.

We just took our birdfeeders down because a big hungry bear has been wrecking havok on feeders. Sorry birdies. :-)

I think birdprints in the snow are SO cute!

I love all the little bird prints. They are so clearly defined and undisturbed.

Happy Easter to you and yours!

That is neat! So cute! I wish we could have a bird feeder. . . we have too many neighbourhood cats though who would look at it as a buffet table. Beautiful perfect little birdie prints. . . so neat.

Snow is so lovely, especially when it falls in places not used to great amounts for long periods of time. Snow in your area is a special gift, sweet, clean, white. Lovely.

I hope your area of the country is not experiencing the extreme drought and fires I am seeing on the news.
