How to display the tiny carvings

The carvings I featured yesterday were kept in a large glass jar in my in-law's house. There may be about 50 of them altogether. Each family member received one in their Christmas stocking a few years ago and recently we picked out another one from the jar. I don't know how to display these. Do you have any ideas? I thought about keeping a few of them on display and donating the rest to some museum or organization-maybe our Uncle's alma mater. I haven't talked about this to Mike, so he and his siblings can discuss it later. It would be a shame to keep them in a drawer, in a closet- never to be seen by anyone. If anyone has a suggestion, drop me a note, please.

How about a tiny shelf. I use museum glue to hold small items on shelves. Or you could find a beautiful jar of your own and hope more are coming your way.

I tried to post and it wouldnt go thru. I will try again.

those are really special. I would get a neat cabinet, add some lace or linens and display them. they are to unique to not be out. what a great gift!

How about a small wood box with dividers , enough for all the carvings, and then topping it with glass and either leaving it for display on a table or mounting it on a wall, within close eye view and good lighting so the carvings can be fully appreciated. I also have some tiny carved birds ( same size as your carvings) that I perch in the stable of my nativity creche every year. Then they are packed up and put away with the creche. You could even use them as Christmas tree ornaments by placing them in those clear glass balls for sale at craft stores. They could be nestled in moss, how pretty that would be!Either way, they are a treasure!
