Daydreaming

Amos settles down in my lap. It will soon be naptime. Maybe for me, too. He gets very calm and looks toward the ceiling. What do dogs think about during these times?
Amos then turns toward the window. Just outside, there is a bird feeder where a squirrel has visited twice today. Amos is not drowsy yet, he is obviously thinking. What do dogs daydream about?

Being a terrier I bet Amos is dreaming about catching a squirrel, but maybe after his nap with you!

I bet he is thinking about YOU, his master who treats him very well and how he loves his food, his pets, his cuddling and his warm comfy place to relax!
